The concept is based on the focus of the ABOUT A WORKER brand on workwear. The design preserves the industrial spirit of the brand and transfer it to the space. The space is inspired by the wardrobe system that used in the Czech Dukla mine and other industrial buildings. Where clothes are hanged above the head.
The main ground floor space is intended for the public and can be used as a showroom, workshop and exhibition space. The layout of the space can be changed using a hanging system. The entire ground floor is adapted for people with limited mobility.
The first floor houses the production area and separate areas for workers to relax. There is also a storeroom, a cloakroom and a technical room. In the middle is a large table for meetings and fabric preparation. The entire area is separated, but in the western part of the building it is connected to the public space through a opening in the floor.
